Congo - Equipment Sarl, is looking for an "Assistant Parts Manager Inventory" according to the following descriptions below:

  • Deadline for applications: Friday, 07/10/2022 at 16:30'. Mission and challenges: The "Assistant Parts Manager Inventory" will be primarily responsible for:
  • Manage the stocking of parts distributed by Congo-Equipment with the objective of to satisfy our customers' needs in terms of quality, lead time and cost while ensuring the company's margin objectives.
  • Ensure the proper management of a spare parts warehouse including the hose assembly business. including the hose manufacturing business. His/her role and responsibilities will include but not limited to:
  • Main activities:
  • Manage a team of parts agents and warehouse staff (evaluation, training, indicators) ;
  • Participate in the elaboration of the objectives of his department;
  • Manage the activity of the team using performance indicators;
  • Analyze the root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement action plans action plans;
  • Guarantee the conformity between physical and computerized flows;
  • Manage the implementation of rotating inventories and annual inventories;
  • Ensure sound inventory management (storage, inventory analysis, rotation, computer system) system);
  • Monitor the stock level of consumable products;
  • Analysis of PIC (Parts Inventory Collaboration) order suggestions;
  • Promote the rotation of our stocks;
  • Computer and physical management of Reman CORE Return;
  • PEX Management;
  • Propose stock replenishment suggestions based on the machine population of machines present on the territory;
  • Reconciliation of Account 408 with Finance;
  • Promote the rotation of our stocks;
  • Ensure a good climate within his team, with the other departments of the LOG and with the other departments of the company (HR/AT/Finance); - Ensure the respect and the update of the business processes;
  • Ensure the safety of its agents.
  • Key interfaces of the function:
  • Internally he/she will be in contact with all CE departments;
  • Externally, he/she will be in contact with CE's clients and the various CAT teams. Those interested in the job should meet the following criteria:
  • Qualifications, experience and knowledge required:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Logistics or other related field,
  • Minimum 5 years experience in sales and inventory management,
  • Mastery of computer tools (pack office).
  • Required skills:
  • Good knowledge of the Caterpillar system (SIS, OTV),
  • Good computer knowledge: SAP,
  • Good knowledge of CAT and EXM parts,
  • Good knowledge of inventory management, procurement,
  • Good promotion and sales skills,
  • Fluent in English and French,
  • Good writing skills, perfect communication.
  • Working Conditions:
  • Primarily in an office environment (Monday through Friday),
